  • Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
  • Provide truthful and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Maintain only one account per person.

CourtBit may suspend or cancel duplicate accounts or accounts containing false information.

CourtBit reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Platform fee: CourtBit charges a fee of 5% to 7% (depending on the organizer's plan) on the registration amount. This fee is paid by the player and is displayed transparently at checkout.
  • Payment methods: Credit and debit cards.
  • VAT: CourtBit's fee includes VAT (IVA). The total amount is itemized at checkout in accordance with Article 7 BIS of the Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).
  • Stripe: Payments are subject to the Stripe Terms of Service. CourtBit does not store credit card data.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Important: The platform fee that CourtBit charges the player is generally non-refundable, as it corresponds to the technology intermediation service rendered. However, in cases where the event is canceled by the organizer before it begins, CourtBit will evaluate refunding the fee on a case-by-case basis.

  • Registration payments to the organizer: These are subject to the organizer's refund policies and to the Stripe Terms of Service. The organizer must publish its refund policy before the player completes registration.
  • Event cancellation by the organizer: Refunding the registration fee is the organizer's responsibility. CourtBit will make reasonable efforts to facilitate communication and the refund process.
  • Unreachable organizer: In exceptional cases where the organizer is unreachable for more than 15 business days after a refund request, CourtBit will evaluate the possibility of processing the refund directly to the player.
  • Voluntary player withdrawal: Refunds are at the organizer's discretion, in accordance with its own policies.
  • Payment disputes: The player may contact contacto@courtbit.com.mx. CourtBit will respond within a maximum of 10 business days and will mediate in good faith between the parties.
  • Consumer rights: In accordance with the Federal Consumer Protection Law, the player may file complaints with PROFECO.

See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for more details.
